VoxPhotographs is a web-based gallery. The photographs are always available for viewing in person as well by calling 207-323-1214 to make an appointment at our private gallery in Portland, Maine's downtown Old Port district.

Don't be timid! A visit to this gallery is a delightful experience! Hundreds of photograph fans have made the pilgrimage in just three months. Bring your friends and enjoy seeing stunning photographs and talking with Director Heather Frederick about photography...voxphotographs@verizon.net.

DAVID BROOKS STESS
David's 20 year photographic study of the blueberry rakers in Washington County is featured in the current Photo District News (PDN) Annual 2008 issue, in an article written by Edgar Allen Beem. Stess rakes blueberries each August and September. He is exclusively represented by VoxPhotographs. You may see his original gelatin silver prints by calling 207-323-1214 to make an appointment.

Both of these fine art photgraphers are featured in the current (June) issue of Black and White Magazine due out in April. Check the newstands or order your copy from www.bandwmag.com. Black and White Magazine features only 24 artists from all over the world in its publication annually and VoxPhotographs is proud to exclusively represent Puntel and Brooks Stess. David Puntel has mastered the complicated 1860's process of making ambrotypes and David Brooks Stess has been shooting toned gelatin silver images in Maine and NYC for twenty years. DAVID WOLFE - Palladium Prints
A true Renaissance man, and well-known as a printmaker and photographer in southern Maine, David Wolfe of Portland is featured in the May issue (on the newstands in April) of Maine Home and Design Magazine. (www.mainehomedesign.com)

Our opening exhibit in October 2007 for the launch of VoxPhotographs, Wolfe's portrayal of Portland via 24 palladium prints (1880's process) underscores the beauty of the city's historic structures as well as the vistas of modern life for its residents.
