David Wolfe Portrait biography: After studying printmaking in Baltimore and working in fine book production for 25 years, David Wolfe is the proprietor of Wolfe Editions, a fine art printing studio in Portland, Maine. As a master printer he works with traditional printmaking processes to print typographic books and images. In his photography he works with non-silver printing processes such as Palladium as a way to print images directly onto book pages. David's images in and around Portland reveal the quiet beauty of every day life and the people of Maine. The Portland Museum of Art recently purchased four of these Portland images for their collection.

"Mr. Wolfe is acclaimed as a Renaissance man of those arts in which ink and paper celebrate one another. Palladium is a notoriously difficult medium in which to work and is the aristocrat of black and white photographic printing."
- Phil Isaacson, Maine Sunday Telegram
